In the world of steaks, the Bison Tomahawk is a game-changer. It’s not just about satisfying your hunger; it’s about making a statement. The Bison Tomahawk Steak – because sometimes, you’ve got to take your taste buds on a wild ride.
Rock’s Bison Tomahawk Steak Recipe
Ingredients
1lb – 2lb – Bullbourne Tomahawk Steak
1 tsp – Keltic salt
1 tsp – pepper
1 tsp – garlic powder
Instructions:
1. Start your grill (smoker) at 275 degrees. We prefer using our Traeger Grill.
2. Pat dry tomahawk steak and bring to room temperature.
3. Liberally season steak all over
4. Prepare charcoal grill and allow grill to reach 500 degrees
5. Place tomahawk steak in the smoker until it reaches an internal temperature of 100 degrees. This should take 10 to 15 minutes.
6. Transfer tomahawk steak to an open flame and seared on each side for 2 – 4 minutes until caramelized on each side.
7. Remove from grill and let tomahawk steak for 10 minutes.
